The **Kizer Hare** is a bushcraft knife that doubles as an EDC knife, designed by Azo, designer at Kizer. His inspiration for this design came during a walk in the woods, where he came face to face with a wild hare. Speed and precision, two characteristics of the hare, formed the foundation for this design. The shape of the blade symbolizes the ears of the hare, while the handle reflects the body. As Azo says: the Kizer Hare is a unique series where art meets nature.




The blade of the Kizer Hare 1077A2 Stonewashed Nitro-V, Black Micarta/Orange G10 fixed knife, Azo design measures 9 cm in length and 4 mm in thickness. The total length is 17,4 cm.



## Blade made of Nitro-V steel
The blade of this Kizer is made of German Nitro-V steel. This is a stainless steel that is easy to sharpen. Nitro-V is also quite tough and retains its sharpness well.



The ‘stonewash’ process was chosen for the finish of this blade. The stonewash process involves the blade being placed inside a drum with ceramic stones, or media, and then vibrated or tumbled for several hours. The result is a finish that looks precisely polished or roughened depending on the version. The advantage of stonewashing, however, is that signs of use are much less noticeable. That makes it a popular choice for knives that see a lot of use.



The Kizer Hare 1077A2 Stonewashed Nitro-V, Black Micarta/Orange G10 fixed knife, Azo design comes with a sheath made of kydex, a sturdy plastic that will keep the steel safe. However, it is important to keep a kydex sheath clean on the inside. Rinse it regularly with water. This will prevent dirt from remaining in the sheath, which can scratch the blade.

Leuk mesje voor in de zak of als je geen zin hebt in iets groots. De schede is een brede met gaten aan beide zijden en sleuven tussen de gaten die het mogelijk maken om werkelijk alles aan bevestigingsmateriaal wat je kan kopen op deze schede te schroeven. Ik heb zelf liever de "taco" stijl (de omgevouwen en smalle met gaten aan 1 kant) maar dit is toch ook best handig. Het mes is zeer goed te gebruiken en het heft is gewoon zeer comfortabel en bruikbaar. Als mindere punten vind ik het zelf jammer dat ze het mes 4 mm dik hebben gemaakt, ik had het zelf liever iets dunner gehad. Verder vind ik het jammer dat ze het stukje tussen de grip delen op de rug verkopen als deel om een "firesteel" mee te strijken, maar het is niet scherp genoeg gemaakt om voldoende vonken mee te produceren, dat zullen degene die dat willen gebruiken zelf nog wat bij moeten slijpen.

Couteau très ergonomique et avec un niveau de finition supérieur aux attentes. Kizer frappe très fort pour cette tranche de prix. Lame élégante, couleur atypique, finition stone washed qui vient donner tout la singularité à la pièce. Achat que je ne regrette pas. Livraison rapide, étui de qualité. Bref je recommande.
