Aluminum multitool system to replace a keychain

A Key-Bar is actually your own DIY key-multitool. You take your keys, place a few spacers and tools, screw the whole thing together and voila: a multi tool with your own keys.


This Key-Bar comes with three sets of screws (for a gap of 14 mm and 16 mm, 8 mm), two rubber O-rings to hold the screws in place, a titanium ring for a lanyard and a titanium pocket clip. It is packaged in a tin box where excess washers and screws easily can be stored in together.


Putting together a Key-Bar is something you have to sit down for. Between the keys and tools you place rings to keep the keys apart. When you really pay attention to this, this will benefit in the long run! For instance you can have more keys on one side than the other and the little rings fill the difference out.

Nooit gedacht dat ik het nodig zou hebben , nu wil ik niet meer zonder ! Mijn (omvangrijke ) sleutelbos gereduceerd tot een compacte "multitool". De meeste van mijn sleutels zijn voorzien van een plastic ring en enkele zijn enigszins krom . Toch kunnen ze er allemaal in. 
Het enige wat aan mijn geluk ontbreekt is een deep-carry pocketclip .

Mooie beloftes maar werkt niet zoals gedacht en op product video van keybar al om geprezen maar niet voor mij geef mij maar een normale sleutelbos 
Prijs is ook veel te hoog

While the Key-Smart is a far more affordable option, mine only lasted for around 18 months, as its much slimmer construction meant small and fragile interlocking screws that wore out and , made the whole thing pretty useless.

The Key-Bar however, is very robust and will likely outlive the keys that are stored in it. Thick aluminium, steel (rather than plastic) washers and three sets of screws to cater for different numbers of keys make this a significant improvement over my previous purchase.

Bonus, i didn't realise that it came with the pocket clip (as they were available separately) and this means the keys are always where you want them, with no risk of falling out.
