The **Gerber STL 2.5** has a thin and elegant design. It is a light-weight pocket knife with a frame lock. With a blade length of 6 cm it is definitely not the largest knife around. However, it is still compact enough and reasonably inconspicuous to carry around in your pocket. Designed for everyday use. Whether you open packages on a daily basis or need to peel your apple: the Gerber STL 2.5 will be the perfect companion.


The blade is strong, black, pointed and smooth. Made from 7cr17MoV stainless steel. The black coating on the blade protects it from external influences. The coating, for instance, prevents rust. The handle is made from a titanium-coated type of stainless steel. An incredibly strong and light-weight material. Like the blade the handles have been enhanced with a black coating. Because of its open frame you can easily clean this pocket knife.


You can easily open the knife with only one hand when you use the thumb hole in the blade. When opened the frame lock firmly keeps the blade in place. As a result the blade won’t accidentally close when you are using it, or open while you are carrying it in your pocket. It might take a little practice but you can also close the knife with only one hand.

Het is een goed, klein, stevig mes. Hij is zo licht dat je hem in je jaszak kan houden zonder het te voelen en er aan te hoeven denken. De ideale mes voor de minimalist.

Very good knife, meets requirements of opening boxes as well as precision work, very flat so can be carried in a back pocket of jeans. 
A little hard to open and close with one hand, especially closing is harsh on the fingers. other than that great every day companion

Fijn zakmes. Niet te groot, niet te klein. Ideaal voor hele dag op zak te hebben en te gebruiken bij werkzaamheden op de boerderij. 

Enige nadeeltje is dat ik vrij veel moeite moet doen om hem weer ingeklapt te krijgen.
