## Gerber Quadrant Bamboo

The **Gerber Quadrant Bamboo** is an EDC knife with a unique design. The blade shape stands out: a sheepfoot-like cleaver. It kind of looks like a classic straight razor. This knife, however, is made to help you with all your daily tasks. Opening boxes, peeling apples and every other task that comes your way.

You open the Gerber Quadrant with one hand with the help of the flipper. A slight movement of the wrist will help you open it quickly. When opened, it is locked by a solid framelock to ensure it won't close accidentally. The blade is made from 7Cr17MoV steel. This is a stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen. The handle is made from stainless steel enhanced with a bamboo inlay. This gives it a cool look and feel, one you don't come across often.

## Gerber Barbill

The **Gerber Barbill** is a tough minimalist wallet. This wallet has enough room for 7 cards that are held in place by a solid elastic band. In addition to cards you can also use the Barbill to store cash or receipts. The steel frame is 'skeletonized': this means that the frame is enhanced with holes so the Barbill weighs next to nothing. The Barbill also contains a practical bottle opener. As such, you can always open a cold drink, no matter where you are!

Porte cartes très pratique
Le couteau est tranchant comme un rasoir et taille ideale dans la poche

Le porte carte est nickel, mais le couteau reste coincé en position ouverte et le flipper ne marche pas complètement... Très déçu même pour un prix léger. 

Soyons clairs, j'aime les produits Gerber. Ils sont toujours de qualité, bien pensés et solides. J'ai profité d'une belle promo (plus de -50%) pour acquérir ce Quadrant Bamboo et le Barbill. En fait, c'est le couteau qui m'intéressait surtout. Je ne suis pas déçu. Le Quadrant est un bon EDC au look très esthétique. Pas de soucis pour l'ouverture, c'est juste un coup à prendre avec la lame vers le haut et un coup de poignet pour accompagner le mouvement du flipper (sans appuyer sur le frame lock pour autant). Le barbill fait son office : ranger des cartes sans encombrement excessif. Merci Gerber !

Its not bad like it will fall apart. but you can got allot more value from other name brands. 

The tab for the locking mechanism is sticking out allot, so much it actually irritates your fingers holding the knife. 

The blade is extreamly stiff to fold out and loosening the screw makes it all feel janky. 

And the build quality is actually worse/same as a 17 year old Gerberknife I have that cost the same back when I bought it. but I dont get the feeling this will last as long as that knife.
