The **Gerber Gator Combo Axe** is a small axe perfect for bushcraft or hunting purposes, with a fixed knife stored in the handle of the axe. As such you will have an axe for the heavy-duty tasks and a fine knife for the smaller tasks.


The construction of the axe is very similar to an axe made by Fiskars. Not that surprising as Gerber is owned by Fiskars. This means that you profit from the axe head attachment. The handle made from FRN is poured around the head. As such it can never come off. The handle, also made from FRN, can withstand shocks and won’t break during normal use. The famous Gerber Gator grip on the handle makes sure it feels great in hand.


The handle has been enhanced with a small fixed knife. This knife has a 7.2 cm blade and a total length of 17.8 cm. The magnet and an additional rubber holder firmly keep the blade in place.


You skin game and prepare food with the knife. However, chopping wood for the campfire and quartering larger pieces of game should be done with the axe.


With the included nylon belt sheath you can easily and comfortably carry the axe around in the field.

Beetje moeten bijslijpen, maar doet daarna wat hij moet doen. Klein en fijn om er mee op uit te trekken.
Deed zijn werk naar behoren

Pequeña y pesada, que para lo que es yo al menos, prefiero que sea así. El detalle del cuchillo en la cacha tiene gracia. Lleva un pequeño imán para sujetarlo el cual apenas hace falta porque va realmente justo. Supongo que en algún momento podrá ser de utilidad. 
Lo que es muy útil es la funda para colgar en el cinto.

Great little tool. , Only thing I don't like is the rubber strap that assists holding the knife in place. It's not needed as the handle of the axe is like a very snug shief.
The axe head is very well made and surprisingly s is the knife.
