The **Fox Kukri** is a large machete, made in Italy. You often see that people often enhance a machete with a thinner blade. Fox did no such thing. For this Kurki Fox used a sheet of NitroB that is no less than 4.9 mm thick! Massive for a knife such as this. The Fox Kurki is therefore heavier than the average machete, but also much more versatile.



You can also use this machete to prune bushes or split a log of wood. It is truly an all-round tool. The ergonomics of the ABS handle is impressive. At first glance it looks simple. When you hold it in hand you notice how well everything was thought out. At the front of the handle you have enough grip for the finer tasks. At the end of the handle you also have enough grip for chopping tasks. We recommend using the lanyard hole for a wrist strap to make sure you don't lose the knife during use.



The Fox Kukri comes with a nice leather sheath.

Très belle pièce avec un design vraiment superbe, bonne ergonomie et l'étui en cuir qui rend super bien avec la machette, bonne coupe, très sympa.

Livraison rapide et emballage parfait. Essai de coupe sur des ronces c'est pas fait pour ça essai de coupe sur des branches de châtaignier de taille raisonnable ça coupe mais je trouve le pouvoir de pénétration limitée de part la largeur de la lame qui est très très solide. étui cuir magnifique. Satisfait de mon achat.

Scherp, hakt prima, voordelig. Prima verhouding van prijs en kwaliteit! Nog geen struiken mee gesnoeid of vuurtjes mee aangemaakt. Wie weet komt dat nog.

Handvat is zeer prettig voor verschillende handen. Groot en klein. Geeft voldoende vertrouwen bij gebruik. 

Het staal is goed, wordt zeer scherp geleverd en kan dus zonder slijpen gelijk gebruikt worden. Behoud zijn scherpte goed. Coating zal door de tijd er af gaan, maar houd zich tot nu toe uitstekend. 

Het gewicht ligt naar voren, maar doordat het lemmetlengte niet al te lang is (precies goed voor ook precisie werk) is er met het grote handvat altijd wel balans te vinden. 

Prijs/kwaliteit is daarmee uitstekend, gezien je ook andere merken voor deze prijs vind die dan in China of Taiwan gemaakt zijn. Op het moment van schrijven was deze machete +-€102,-. Dan kies ik toch echt voor made in eu (Italie in dit geval ;) ). 

Von der Form her würde ich es nicht als Kukri bezeichnen, eher als Machete. Ich habe es auch nicht , für mich, als Kukri gekauft. Mir gefiel die Form und die Stahlauswahl. Der rostbeständige Nitro B-Stahl hat ein Mikro-Struktur-Gitter. welches meiner Laien-Meinung nach dem weitaus teueren pulvermetalurgischen CPM 3V-Stahl nahe kommt. Dazu noch eine schöne, hochwertige Lederscheide. DAS "Fox-Kukri" ist fast zu schön um es hart ranzunehmen. Und das kann man bestimmt. Das "Kukri" hat mit 5 mm Klingenstärke ordentlich wumms. 

Alles in allem ein wertiges, schönes, effektives Teil.
