The **Condor K-TAC Kukri Knife 1812-10HC** is a powerful machete in the classic kukri style. It has a tough appearance and is suitable for heavy tasks. Originally, the kukri was a knife used by the feared and revered Gurkhas in Nepal. These fierce warriors used their kukris day in and day out. Due to the blade shape, a large part of the weight is placed at the front. It is therefore excellent for chopping.



The blade has a convex grind. It's nice and strong, and can be sharpened with a strop. The blade of the Condor Heavy Duty Kukri is made of 1075 carbon steel. This is a strong steel that is easy to sharpen, and can also take quite a beating. 1075, however, is not completely stainless, so you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle.



The handle is made from micarta. This is a strong composite material made from linen and synthetic resin. The scales are secured with hollow pins, and there is a sturdy steel plate at the end of the handle. You can use these as an improvised hammer. The Condor K-TAC Kukri Knife comes with a solid Kydex sheath with a belt loop.

geweldige kukri, het in en uittrekken van de sheath is even gewoon worden maar het ontwerp ervan is goed doordacht en past goed, de leren dangler eraan is geweldig en gemakkelijk in gebruik. de kukri zelf ligt goed in de hand, groot handvat met een grote pommel zodat het niet uit je hand vliegt. de balans is uitstekend en kapt geweldig goed, je hebt veel controle en preciezer dan een bijl. de convex slijping is goed gedaan en blijft hierdoor goed scherp.

Excellent size and nicely balanced weight for chopping. It sharpens easily, and the blade is tough. The handle is shaped very ergonomically, and it doesn't slip at all. My order was shipped very fast, and everything came in order. 
I have previously ordered the other version as well - Condor Heavy Duty Kukri and I like this micarta handle shape better .
Knives and Tools never disappoint. This was not my first order, and it definitely won't be my last!
