The **Cold Steel Recon Tanto SK5 Dark Earth Black** is a large and cool fixed knife. Of course, Cold Steel is traditionally known for their cool tantos. This Americanised blade shape, originally from Japan, has been optimised for its piercing capacity.

This Cold Steel Recon Tanto features a blade made from rock-solid SK5 steel. This is type of carbon steel that can handle its own. Not completely stainless, but the coating will help with this.

The handle is made from Kray-Ex. A rubber-like plastic that offers a lot of grip, even in wet circumstances. The sheath is in the style of Cold Steel's Secure-Ex. Solid, plastic and perfect for both left and right-handed use. Very practical.

Je voulais depuis longtemps ce modèle emblématique de cold Steel, dans un premier temps avec la lame blanche et le manche noir, mais après avoir vu ce coloris je me suis décidé. Le tranchant est particulièrement affuté, la lame inspire confiance et le manche est agréable en main, nul doute qu'il fait le job sur le terrain. Je recommande.
