The blade of the Civivi Pyrus C23038-1 Black 14C28N, Burgundy G10, Ostap Hel design, pocket knife is made of 14C28N. This is an excellent knife steel from Sweden. It is corrosion resistant, retains its sharpness well, is quite tough and easy to sharpen yourself. What more could you possibly want?



The blade features a blackwashed finish. For this finish, the blade is first finished with a coating, then tumbled. This makes the blade look like it has been around for a while, kind of like jeans. A big advantage of this is that traces of use will be much less noticeable.



## G10 handle

The Civivi Pyrus C23038-1 Black 14C28N, Burgundy G10, Ostap Hel design, pocket knife features a handle made from G10 and measures 5,75 cm in length. G10 is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. With its subtle texture, G10 feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. Even though he collaborates with various brands, his style is easy to recognize. Clean lines and smooth transitions define his work. This transition concerns materials, shapes and textures, but also the transition between blade and handle. Funnily enough, Ostap Hel started metalwork as an apprentice using medieval techniques; a stark contrast to the ultra-modern designs and production methods he uses today.

Je ne m’attendais pas à utiliser ce couteau à ce point !

Heeft de kwaliteit die men gewoon is van Civivi. Vlijmscherp geleverd. Wat gevaarlijk is omdat ik er veel mee fidget, maar ja wie zijn gat verbrandt .... wordt geleverd met een bewaarpouch ( die uiteraard veel te groot is om het mesje in mee te nemen , maar altijd handig om een ander zakmes in te steken uiteraard, dus mij hoor je niet klagen)

Gebruik: dozen openen/touwtjes doorsnijden, verder kun je er weinig mee.
Mocht men het pocketclipje willen herplaatsen voor bv linkshandige of het eraf willen, kijk dan goed uit dat het ini-mini veertje er niet uitspringt. 
Veertje is 2mm lang, functie voor de slipjoint blokkering. 
Je zoekt je rot, ben je het veertje kwijt dan werkt de blokkering niet meer, en je wil niet dat het superscherpe mesje in je broekzak open gaat. 
Gebruik het dagelijks. Fijn ding.  
Draag em in de kleine spijkerbroek zak.
