The **Civivi Baby Banter Fixed C23045-2 Nitro-V, Green Micarta** is the first fixed knife in the Banter series, also designed by Ben Banters, of course. Don't be fooled by its compact size; the Baby Banter Fixed can handle its own! The grip on the knife is considerably better than you might think due to the addition of a paracord lanyard. A little jimping has been added at the tip of the blade for more detailed work.



The blade of the Civivi Baby Banter Fixed C23045-2 Nitro-V, Green Micarta, fixed knife, Ben Petersen design measures 6 cm in length and 3 mm in thickness. The total length is 12,7 cm.



## Blade made of Nitro-V steel
The blade of this Civivi is made of German Nitro-V steel. This is a stainless steel that is easy to sharpen. Nitro-V is also quite tough and retains its sharpness well.



The blade features a blackwashed finish. For this finish, the blade is first finished with a coating, then tumbled. This makes the blade look like it has been around for a while, kind of like jeans. A big advantage of this is that traces of use will be much less noticeable.



## Micarta handle 
The handle of the Civivi Baby Banter Fixed C23045-2 Nitro-V, Green Micarta, fixed knife, Ben Petersen design is made of micarta. This is a composite material made of fabric and synthetic resin. If you look closely, you can see a subtle texture on the surface, sometimes it looks almost like wood. This material is strong and stable, and it's very grippy.



The Civivi Baby Banter Fixed C23045-2 Nitro-V, Green Micarta, fixed knife, Ben Petersen design comes with a sheath made of kydex, a sturdy plastic that will keep the steel safe. However, it is important to keep a kydex sheath clean on the inside. Rinse it regularly with water. This will prevent dirt from remaining in the sheath, which can scratch the blade.

I wanted a small and I mean small fixed blade for work.So I came across the reviews on the Baby Banter and I said I'd take a chance on it.
I can honestly say with 100% that this is a great little knife that fits easily in the pocket and does exactly what I needed it for.I have a lot of knives and I must say this is the one I have in my pocket most of the time.It comes pretty sharp,and is very easy to sharpen and put a nice edge on it.If your considering a small knife you won't go wrong with this!!!!

Nettes kleines Messerchen für EDC

Das Messer sieht nett und freundlich aus, trägt sich super durch die Kydex und hat für meine Hand eine super Ergonomie.
Der Stahl ist in etwa mit 14c28n vergleichbar, meiner Meinung nach.
Ziemlich rostbeständig und gut schnitthaltig.

Alles in allem eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Ik gebruik de Baby Banter Fixed nu ongeveer een maand en het blijkt voor mij een uitkomst te zijn. Ik draag al velen jaren een zakmes in de broekzak. Dit keer besloot ik een kleine fixed blade te proberen, horizontaal bevestigd in een scout carry aan de voorkant van mijn riem. 

Ik ervaar daarbij de volgende voordelen: Eén voorwerp minder in de broekzak. Het mes is makkelijker schoon te maken, en heeft minder delen waar vuil tussen kan komen. Het is goed verborgen, aangezien ik altijd een shirt of trui over mijn riem draag en door het lichte gewicht en kleine formaat merk ik nauwelijks dat het mes er hangt. De toegankelijkheid vanuit een scout carry bevalt zeer goed. 


Het mes zelf is gemaakt van Nitro-V staal, makkelijk te slijpen en prima voor lichte klusjes. Hij is compact, maar voelt toch verrassend robuust aan. Het handvat biedt voldoende grip. De taco-stijl Kydex sheath zit muurvast, wat veel vertrouwen geeft. Ik heb er ook een Ulticlip bij gekocht, voor de vertrouwde broekzak carry, maar die heb ik eigenlijk nog niet gebruikt, omdat de scout carry zo goed bevalt. 

Handig ding. Compact maar niet te klein. Genoeg grip o.a ook door de lanyard. Oogt ook ongevaarlijk dus geschikt voor veel plaatsen. Past in mijn broekzak. Mooi ontwerp. Waar voor je geld

Ist halt CIvivi, im worst case ist das c auf der schraube nicht perfekt mittig und man arretiert nochmal nach, sonst nie probleme mit den messern gehabt. war bei dem jetzt nicht der fall da hat alles gepasst. etwas geärgert hab ich mich darüber das die lieferzeit sehr lang war und in der zwischenzeit das messer im angebot war und ich mir da 7 euro hätte sparen können aber sei es drum, sind wir mal realistisch wir haben doch alle über 20 messer und eigentlich wollen wir nur noch geld ausgeben
