The **Bestech Heidi Blacksmith #1** is a light-weight and slim fixed knife. You can carry it as an EDC knife, but because of its clippoint blade you can also use it as a hunting knife. Because of the elegant mosaic pins the Bestech Heidi looks really stylish. The thin scales and flowing curves of the handle also contribute to this. 

 Bestech used D2 to produce the blade. This is a tough type of steel that retains it sharpness well. You do, however, need to be careful with salt, acids and moisture: D2 is not completely stainless. The handle is made from a nice piece of carbon fibre.

 The Bestech Heidi comes with a kydex sheath. It is not enhanced with a belt clip, so you can purchase it individually.

Das Heidi habe ich regelmäßig beim Angeln dabei. 

Ein wunderbares EDC-Messer. Die Klingenform und der verwendete D2-Stahl erlaubt aber auch die Nutzung als kleines Jagdmesser. Die handliche Klingenlänge von 7,9 cm mit dem längeren Griff (9,5 cm) sorgen für eine gute Handlage – selbst bei Handschuhgröße 10. 
Sei es bei der Essenszubereitung oder der Versorgung von Niederwild, das Heidi überzeugt. Bei Alltagsaufgaben ist die Clippointklinge mit ihrer zulaufenden Spitze auch bei filigranen Aufgaben sehr hilfreich. Als moderne und ästhetische Alternative verwende ich es gerne anstelle eines traditionellen Jagdnickers.
Der fein ausgeführte Griff, die feinen Mosaik-Pins und die gelungene Maserung des Kohlenfasergriffs sorgen für einen eleganten und keinesfalls bedrohlichen Auftritt.

Je suis déçu car le carbon en damier du manche est absent suite au polissage du manche au niveau des rivets, une large bande noire mat remplace le dessin en damier que devrait avoir le manche, même pas une cordelette de cou n'est mise avec l'étui. Qualité- prix est chère malgré la promotion.

Griffschalen sind in verschiedenen Varianten und sogar als limitierte Version in grünem Micarta erhältlich, da auch M390- statt D2-Stahl. 
Das ist natürlich Geschmackssache, ich mochte aber den Kontrast der sehr schönen Mosaik-Pins zu schwarz mehr (hatte auch die Micarta-Version).
As u like it. 
Entscheidung zwischen M390 und D2 fiel mir schwer, aber die Optik hat entschieden. 
Schliff:
Ebenfalls Geschmackssache. 
Für die Rambo-Richtung perfekt, aber da ich kein Batoning damit vorhabe und es lieber filigraner mag, werde ich es umschleifen, von 25 auf die mir gefälligen 17,5 Grad (diese feine Skalierungsangabe aber nur, weil es sich beim Ken Onion Work Sharp perfekt zwischen 15 und 20 einstellen lässt).
Balance/Griff:
Ich habe eher zarte Pfötchen (Handschuhe 8-9) als fette Klodeckel (würde ich auch mögen) - und da passen mit Daumen auf Jimpings 3 3/4 Finger perfekt auf den Griff das letze Viertel steht dann zwar auch noch auf dem Griff, aber etwas höher. 
100% OK für mich, ich will mich damit nicht durch den Urwald schlagen. 
Fazit:
Ich denke, das ist ein sehr gut verarbeitetes und sehr schönes EDC, unproblematisches Fix-Blade mit Hosentaschengeigneter Scheide, ausreichend scharf für Küche und Wald - aber da geht noch etwas, wenn man OP-Schärfe haben möchte. 
Tuning- (Spiel-) Faktor also auch vorhanden. 
Ich bin glücklich!
