The **Benchmade Bugout 535BK-08 Storm Gray** is a special edition of the famous Bugout. Originating from a collection of knives for which Benchmade used nature as a starting point. The colour composition of the blade and the handle, of this version, was inspired by the growing clouds of an approaching storm. The Dark Gray Cerakote blade finish represents the darkest, inner clouds and the handle the light-grey clouds that surround the storm.

Other than that this special Bugout is exactly as you have grown accustomed to from the original. The Bugout was designed for hikers who pay attention to every gram. With 55 grams and an 8.2 cm blade, this knife is definitely the answer they have been looking for. The Bugout is ideal for preparing food, feather sticks to light your fire and opening packages.

The blade is made from CPM S30V steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC. With a very thin edge. Perfectly sharpened for peeling an apple. CPM S30V is very stainless and retains its sharpness very well. It is also easy to sharpen.

The handle is made from Grivory. A light-weight type of plastic that is remarkably strong for its weight. The knife features steel liners at the front of the handle for additional strength around the lock.

The Benchmade Bugout is enhanced with a slightly shorter deep-carry pocket clip than you have seen before on most models. Less steel means less weight: another detail that was carefully thought through. You can place the clip on either side, making it the perfect knife for both left-handed and right-handed use.​

Sehr leichtes Messer, tolle Qualität und sehr scharf. 

Was soll man sagen. Einerseits teuer, aus „Plastik“, nicht extrem stabil und auch nicht unheimlich schön. 
Aber was ist Dein EDC? 
Was ist Dein Überlebensmesser? 
Für mich gibt es nur ein Messer das wertvoll ist, es ist das was ich immer dabei habe. 
Es wiegt ca 50 Gramm, es ist superschlank, achnitthaltig, Deep Carry - muss ja nicht jeder sehen, leicht zu schärfen und man vergisst die Anwesenheit in der Hosentasche! Und das ist EDC! 
Oder geht man etwa mit einem stabilen, schweren und großen Messer aus dem Haus? 
Also falls es mal dazu kommt, wird das Messer was man dabei hat auch gleichzeitig das Überlebensmesser sein. Viel Spaß beim Bäume fällen (einfach Kettensäge mitnehmen)

Ein wunderschönes Messer, mit guten Spielfaktor und coolen Design, dies ist eines Meiner ersten Benchmade Messer und es überzeugt mich fest!

Stijlvol en scherp en -voor mij erg belangrijk- superlicht. Ik heb al veel EDC messen gehad maar bij de Bugout staan er echt in alle hokjes van mijn eisenlijstje groene vinkjes. Tuurlijk is Benchmade niet goedkoop maar de kwaliteit die je ervoor krijgt is de uitgave meer dan waard. Snel en makkelijk besteld via K&T, zoals altijd prima geregeld.
