The Benchmade 585 Mini-Barrage PE has all characteristics you may expect of a very practical EDC-knife. High quality materials have been used to make a very functional knife with extremely smooth assisted opening. 154CM is selected for the steel of the blade. It is with good reason Benchmade uses this steel often. It has excellent cutting performances while you can also easily sharpen it yourself.   
  


In addition to the axis-lock, the 585 Mini-Barrage also has a secondary blocking. This can be used to secure the blade in both unfolded and folded position. Ideal for users who appreciate the extra security. Obviously it is also possible not to use it.  
  


The handle of this pocket knife is made of zytel. This material is resistant to heat, cold, moisture and many other substances and circumstances that may threaten a knife. Ideal for daily use. The shapes in the zytel are mainly present for the look and provide the knife with a friendly appearance. On the inside of the handle rounded liners are included that limit the weight of the Mini-Barrage.

Dit mes draag ik dagelijks sinds augustus 2020. Het mes heeft mij nog nooit teleurgesteld. Het is handzaam, de assisted opening blijft uitstekend zijn werk doen, het ligt goed in de hand en blijft lang scherp. Wat mij betreft een absolute aanrader als EDC mes. 

Une très belle ouverture assistée, ça claque bien.

Ein handliches kleines Taschenmesser, das sich blitzschnell durch die Federunterstützung öffnet. Die Sicherung gegen unbeabsichtigtes Öffnen oder Schließen der Klinge ist eine gute Sache. Das Messer ist rasiermesserscharf und stabil gebaut.
Das Mini-Barrage ist mein erstes Benchmade-Messer und sicher nicht mein letztes. Ich bin auf den Geschmack gekommen!
