This **Tramontina Churrasco Jumbo 2-piece steak knife set** is an affordable and practical set comprised of two large steak knives. Perfect for use in restaurants, at home or during a nice BBQ. 

## Tramontina Churrasco blade

The blades are made from AISI 420 steel. Because of its corrosion resistance this type of steel is often used for cutlery. The blade is partially serrated. The most used part of the blade is enhanced with serrations to make sure it stays sharp a lot longer and can easily cut through large pieces of meat. Behind the serrations the blade is enhanced with a razor-sharp and straight edge. With it you can cut pieces of meat without tearing it.

## Tramontina Churrasco handles

The handles are made from Polywood. Not the Polywood you might know from garden furniture. Tramontina has a unique production technique when making the handles. They stick thin slices of wood on top of each other. Afterwards synthetic resin is added that fill the pores of the wood. As such the wood can no longer absorb moisture, also making it stronger. The wood is enhanced with an FSC label, the label for sustainable forestry. So compared to the traditional Polywood this is real wood and not plastic.

Tramontina states that the knives are dishwasher proof. If you want to enjoy these steak knives as long as possible we recommend cleaning them by hand.

Because of the materials used these steak knives are suited for versatile and heavy-duty use. The finish might not be perfect, but that is also reflected in the price.
