The **The James Brand The Redstone** is a compact and lightweight pocket knife. A stylish companion when you go hiking or perfect for daily use. Attach The Redstone to your outdoor equipment or clip it to the pocket of your shorts. You hardly notice that the knife is there until you need it!

The James Brand did everything they could to make sure the knife is as lightweight as possible. The knife only weighs 50 grams! The frame on which the scales are mounted are made from one piece of folded stainless steel. A clever construction that drastically reduces the amount of parts you need for a handle. The scales are made of polypropylene. A lightweight and solid type of plastic. The Redstone is enhanced with a wire-clip. A type of pocket clip made from one piece of solid metal wire.

The new 'island design' is unique. It enables you to place one finger in between the islands, the scales, for the perfect grip. Despite the compact size. The screw at the end is hollow to make sure you can add a piece of paracord.

The blade of The Redstone is enhanced with the characterizing triangular thumb hole. With it you can easily open the knife. The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. A decent and stainless type of steel that will excell during all your outdoor adventures. Or simply when peeling a piece of fruit. The blade is enhanced with a partially serrated edge. Ideal when cutting through sturdy materials such as rope and plastic.

When opened the blade is locked by a so-called Slide-Lock. This type of lock looks a lot like an axis lock, but is slightly different. It is just as easy to control with two hands, though.
