The **Spyderco siren C247GP** is a perfect pocket knife for anyone who spends a lot of time on or around water. The Siren was designed by Lance Clinton. A professional when it comes to kayaking. The result is great! Clinton's expertise, combined with Spyderco's excellent production quality and knowledge of the material, has led to a stunning product.

 The Spyderco Siren feels at home near water. You can tell when you look at the material used. The blade is made from LC200N-steel. This is a remarkable stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. The handle is made from G10. A solid and light-weight material. With it Spyderco keeps the weight low and never compromises when it comes to quality.

 The G10 scales are enhanced with a coarse texture to make sure the handle won't slip from your hand during use. A *finger-guard* makes sure your hand doesn't slide towards the edge and a solid backpack locks the blade when opened. All great details that result in a pocket knife that can safely be used.

 Are you not a fisherman? Are not living anywhere close to water? No problem. You can also use the Spyderco Siren for daily EDC tasks. The Siren is great at *food-prep*. The *full-flat grind* blade is really thin. Perfect when peeling fruit or cutting vegetables. Because the steel is stainless you don't have to worry that the acids of the fruit will affect the steel.

Das Siren sehr schönes Messer, absolut sauber und fehlerfrei gefertigt. Ich habe mich schlussendlich dagegen entschieden, weil der Griff sehr rau ist. Für die vorgesehene Verwendung an und auf dem Wasser ist das von Vorteil. Als EDC für die Hosentasche nicht optimal.
