The **Spyderco Pacific Salt 2 C91PBK2** is a practical pocket knife for everyone working in maritime surroundings or who loves spending time there. The blade is completely stainless. Stainless because it is made from H1-steel. This is a type of steel in which all carbon is replaced by nitrogen. The result is a guaranteed stainless type of knife steel that retains its sharpness well.


Spyderco values constantly improving their products. They call this CQI: constant quality improvement. The Pacific Salt 2 is an improved version of the old Pacific Salt. The handle might look familiar. It is almost identical to that of the popular Endura and therefore a lot less angular than its predecessor. Spyderco enhanced all steel parts that can rust with a black coating. As such it cannot be affected by salt sea water. In short: the perfect knife for diving purposes, fishing, off-shore, the food industry, and basically all professions where rust is not desired.


The Pacific Salt 2 is exactly as you have grown accustomed to from Spyderco: no-nonsense, decent and functional. You open the knife with one hand with the help of the round hole in the blade, after which a reliable back-lock keeps the blade locked when opened. Because of the use of light-weight FRN scales the Pacific salt only weighs 82 grams. Quite the achievement for a knife with a 9.6 cm blade!
