The **Spyderco Lil' Temperance 3 Lightweight** is the third incarnation of the Lil' Temperance. The qualities of the fixed Temperance, but more compact, as a folding knife. The Lil' Temperance 3 uses a *compression lock*. A lock invented by Sal Glesser that looks a lot like a reversed liner lock, but is a lot stronger.

This is the Lightweight version of the Lil' Temperance. Its scales are made from FRN, An incredibly light-weight material. The texture on the FRN handle is also a little deeper to increase your grip. To easily carry it in your pocket it comes with a pocket clip. It can be placed in four different ways.

When opened, you can see from the overall shape of the knife that it is derived from a fixed counterpart. The slightly flared handle at the front is evidence of this. You can easily open the blade made from VG10 steel with the characterizing thumb hole. This version is enhanced with a serrated edge to cut tough materials, like cardboard or rope. The pocket clip ensures that this knife will be a friend to all: you can place it in four different ways, there is something for everyone.
