The **SOG Terminus SJ** is a solid and modern slipjoint. It's a great combination of a two-handed opening knife without a lock, and the materials and finish of a modern EDC pocket knife.

This means you use two hands to open the Terminus. When opened, the blade is held in place by a slipjoint-style lock. This ensures the blade stays where it should, but it isn't completely locked. As a result, you can legally carry the Terminus in many places in Europe. 

The choice of materials and design are quite unique for a slipjoint. You don't often see a G10 handle with a pattern like this on a knife that you can legally carry in so many places. The type of steel, CTS-BD1, is also an unusual occurrence in this class. So it is really a pure EDC knife with the benefits of a two-handed slipjoint. Highly recommended for anyone who travels a lot.

Einer mit der besten Slipjoint Messer wie ich finde. Die Haltefeder ist richtig stark, so das man weniger Angst haben muss, das die Klinge beim Arbeiten zuklappt. Zudem ist es wirklich sehr scharf und der wechselbare Deep Pocket Clip ist wirklich so entworfen, das man das Messer in der Tasche nicht sieht.
Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, das es fast nicht zerlegbar ist, da die Schrauben mit Schraubesicherung gesichert wurden. Das hat natürlich den Vorteil, das sich die Schrauben auch nicht lockern.
Fazit: ein in Deutschland 42a-konformes Messer für den täglichen Gebrauch
