## Blade made of CPM 3V steel
The blade is made of CPM 3V steel, a tool steel type known for its exceptional strength. Damage due to breaking therefore hardly ever occurs. CPM 3V retains its sharpness very well. However, you do have to be a little careful with moisture and acids: CPM 3V is not completely corrosion resistant. Keep this knife in perfect condition by taking care to clean it after use and applying a drop of oil every now and then.



The blade of this knife is enhanced with a 'satin finish'. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.



## Micarta handle 
The handle of the SOG-17-27-01-57 Kiku Fxâ€‹  6&quot; Blade  Satin is made of micarta. This is a composite material made of fabric and synthetic resin. If you look closely, you can see a subtle texture on the surface, sometimes it looks almost like wood. This material is strong and stable, and it's very grippy.



## About SOG Knives
SOG is a knife brand with a rich history. SOG means ‘Studies and Observation Group’, referring to a unit in the US army that carried out covert operations in Vietnam. For this specialised work in the jungle, they needed reliable knives. With reproductions of MACV-SOG knives, Spencer Frazer started SOG knives in 1986.

Since then, SOG has grown into a tough, all-round knife brand. Fixed blades, pocket knives, multi-tools: SOG has it all. Today, production is partly done in Asia, and partly in the United States.
