## G10 handle
The SOG-BY1004-BX Bar15dâ€‹  6&quot; Blade features a handle made from G10. This is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. It is very strong, offers a lot of grip and is comfortable to hold. Moreover, it is not affected by moisture and it is a very stable material. It's an excellent choice for the handle of a fixed blade.



The SOG-BY1004-BX Bar15dâ€‹  6&quot; Blade comes with a sheath made of kydex, a sturdy plastic that will keep the steel safe. However, it is important to keep a kydex sheath clean on the inside. Rinse it regularly with water. This will prevent dirt from remaining in the sheath, which can scratch the blade.



## About SOG Knives
SOG is a knife brand with a rich history. SOG means ‘Studies and Observation Group’, referring to a unit in the US army that carried out covert operations in Vietnam. For this specialised work in the jungle, they needed reliable knives. With reproductions of MACV-SOG knives, Spencer Frazer started SOG knives in 1986.

Since then, SOG has grown into a tough, all-round knife brand. Fixed blades, pocket knives, multi-tools: SOG has it all. Today, production is partly done in Asia, and partly in the United States.
