The **Shizu Hamono steak knife** is a chic and versatile Japanese steak knife. Thanks to the razor-sharp blade, you can effortlessly cut through steaks without tearing the meat, so the meat remains juicy. Besides steaks, this knife is also ideal as a small kitchen knife. You can use it to cut vegetables, fruit and herbs.

## Shizu Hamono damascus steel

The katana-like blade is made of 33-layered stainless damascus steel with a core of stainless VG10 steel. This combination ensures that the knives are razor-sharp, stainless and stunning. This type of steel is easy to sharpen.

## Shizu Hamono handle

The round handle is made from pakka wood. This is a wood and resin composite that is wear and tear resistant. The dark colour and matt finish are a nice contrast to the silver blade. The handle is not dishwasher-safe. Wash the knife by hand immediately after use, and then dry it well. Keep the wood in optimal condition by regularly oiling the handle with a mineral oil.
