The **Sencut Fritch Dark Brown Matrix Micarta Stonewashed** is a no-nonsense EDC pocket knife. Good quality at a reasonable price, and no unnecessary fuss. Simply a good knife, made to be used. You open the knife with the flipper or thumb stud. This mechanism runs really smoothly thanks to the ceramic ball bearings. When opened, the blade is locked in place by a sturdy stainless steel frame lock. You can easily carry the Fritch with the pocket clip, which can be worn either left or right.

## Blade made from 9Cr18MoV

The blade is made from 9Cr18MoV steel. Quite the mouthfull. It's a stainless steel that is roughly equivalent to 440B steel. All you need to know is that it has great sharpness retention and it's easy to sharpen.

## Micarta handle

The handle is made from micarta. This is a composite material made from linen and synthetic resin that provides plenty of grip. Micarta absorbs the oils from your hand, so each knife will become truly unique over time.

C'est mon second Sencut après le kyril que j'adore et cette fois encore, très bonne surprise. Réalisation parfaite, rien ne coince, rien ne dépasse, le manche en micarta est superbe au look et au toucher et cette fois les platines sont ajourées. Bien vu chez Sencut, des formes de lames originales qui changent du sempiternel drop-point. Une seule remarque négative que l'on pourrait faire pour de nombreux couteaux, le système d'ouverture. Flipper + ergots de pouce, soit ceinture et bretelles pour ceux qui ont vu Il était une fois dans l'ouest. Les deux systèmes fonctionnent à merveille alors pourquoi ce doublon? Parce que les américains préfèrent les ergots et les européen le flipper? Chaque système a ses avantages et ses inconvénients. En mettant les deux on a le double d'inconvénients mais pas d'avantages puisqu'on n'utilisera que l'un ou l'autre. Le bilan global est toutefois très positif et c'est un excellent couteau de poche qui en plus ne vous ruinera pas.
