The **SENCUT Aetheris** is a simple pocket knife. You open the drop-point blade using the flipper or the thumb studs, and the ball bearings make the action extremely smooth. When opened, the blade is locked in place by a sturdy stainless steel frame lock. The micarta handle features a comfortable finger groove.



The SENCUT Aetheris S24095-3, Black 9Cr18MoV, Black Micarta pocket knife is a hefty EDC knife in the colour black. With its blade length of 9,4 cm, it's especially suited for demanding cutting tasks. This is not a compact knife! When closed, it measures 12,4 cm in length and it weighs 113 g.



Opening the SENCUT Aetheris S24095-3, Black 9Cr18MoV, Black Micarta pocket knife is incredibly fast thanks to the flipper or the thumb stud. Once opened, the liner lock ensures the blade is fixed in place. It prevents the pocket knife from accidentally closing.



## Blade made of 9Cr18MoV steel
The blade is made of 9Cr18MoV. That sounds like a mouthful, but it's actually simple. It is a stainless steel, which is easy to sharpen, it has nice sharpness retention and, above all, is easy on your wallet. In terms of composition, it is very similar to 440B, which is a more well-known steel.



The blade is enhanced with a coating. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not specified which type of coating has been applied, however, what we do know is that a coating generally protects against corrosion. However, it is always possible for the coating to start showing traces of use after a while, such as scratches. This is normal wear and tear that gives your knife character.



## Micarta handle

The handle of this SENCUT Aetheris is made of micarta and measures 12,4 cm in length. Micarta is a great material for pocket knife handles. This material is grippy, relatively lightweight and it looks very cool. It is composed of fabric fibres and synthetic resin. The resulting layers often even make micarta look a bit like wood. However, it is a very stable and strong material.
