The **Otter Mercator 10-836 RG R** is a large pocket knife. The handle is made from brass, the blade from 1.4034 stainless steel. The lanyard eye enables you to easily add a lanyard.

## 1.4034 stainless steel blade

The blade is made from 1.4034 steel. This is a stainless type of steel that is often used for pocket knives. The main advantage of this steel is that it is very corrosion resistant. It is a type of steel that also hardens well. Also, pocket knives made from this steel won't wear out as easily. You open the blade with the nailnick and lock it with the help of a backlock. The handle is made from stainless steel.

**Otter** knives are traditionally produced in Solingen. To this day, they are carefully handmade and sharpened. The range includes knives for recreational, household, garden and outdoor use. Couteau plat , et très bien fini, lame superbement profilée,  inoxydable , la couleur 
Laiton du manche est classe .

Beaucoup plus esthétique que le douk douk, 
qui cependant un bon couteau Français. 

Le Mercator a un historique dans l armée Allemande,  et , en regardant bien , la lame à la forme d 'une baillonette de 14-18 , mais ce point de vue n'engage que moi .  

Bref, très satisfait,  merci le  Mercator, tu es le plus fort .
