The **Ontario Hiking Knife 8187** is a relatively lightweight fixed knife. With 160 grams and a blade length of 8.6 cm it is a great knife to take with your during hikes. You can use it to create your own tent pegs from branches, cook your own meals and even to gut game. 

To make sure the blade stays sharp even after these tasks it is made from 420HC steel. This is a stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. 420HC is also relatively tough. As such you can also use this knife for the more demanding tasks. 420HC is easy to sharpen in the field. All you need is a simple pocket sharpening stone.

The handle is made from a great material: micarta. In this case it looks like a type of 'rag micarta'. With different colours making it almost look like a type of root wood. The end of the handle contains a large lanyard eye with enough room for a wrist strap. As such you won't lose it in the dark or during the more demanding tasks.

The Ontario Hiking Knife 8187 comes with a leather sheath. An American knife for a great price. Ready to help you out during any adventure.

Très bon petit couteau de camp, acier assez dur avec une bonne tenue du tranchant.
Je l’ai affûté convexe directement et je dois dire qu’il dévore le bois comme un chef.
Le micarta est beau et solide.
L’étui est en cuir mais demande à être réformé.
Étrange qu’il n’y ait pas de poste Youtube sur ce couteau pas cher.
