## Titanium handle

The handle of this Nitecore  is made of titanium and measures 7,3 cm in length. Titanium is a fantastic high-tech material. It is an excellent choice for the handle of a pocket knife for several reasons: titanium is very strong, lightweight and it is flexible. Moreover, titanium can be machined very precisely and a wide range of different finishes are possible. To be exact, the handle is made of a titanium alloy. Small amounts of aluminium and vanadium are added to pure titanium to make it even more suitable for use as a pocket knife handle.
