The **MAM Professional Forged ham knife 29.5 cm** is a long, slim knife that enables you to easily cut the thinnest slices. Because the blade is so long, it's possible to make long cutting movements instead of using a sawing motion. This means you can cut very thin, straight slices. And because the blade is so low, the slices don't stick to the blade and don't tear.

The blade is made from high-quality carbon steel and has been hand sharpened by MAM. This means the knife comes out of the packaging razor-sharp, and if used correctly, it will also remain sharp for a very long time. You can also easily sharpen the blade yourself if the knife starts to lose some of its sharpness over time.

The MAM Professional Forged knives have a plastic handle. Nice and easy to maintain, you don't really have to think about it. The knife is full-tang. This means that the steel of the blade extends all the way to the end of the handle. This makes the knives strong and ensures they are well-balanced. 

We recommend simply washing the knives by hand. This prevents deterioration of the material and allows you to keep enjoying the knife for longer. One wash in the dishwasher won't hurt, but if you do it more frequently, the detergent and the heat can affect the hardened steel and the plastic. It may result in rust spots on the blade, or dull or even torn handles.
