Sharpening stones that can be used with the Lansky sharpening system. Because of their round shape of the stones it is this ideal for (pocket) knives that have a curved blade. These knives are hard to sharpen on a ‘normal’ sharpening stones.  
  
 

The set consists out of 4 sharpening stones with a coarse, medium, fine and extra fine grit. You can change the shape of the edge, sharpen to perfection and polish to ultimate sharpness with these stones.

Sehr geeignet für gekrümmte klingen  (Karambit). Hält was es verspricht. 

Ich habe bereits die flachen Schleifsteine erfolgreich eingesetzt. Die halbrunden Schleifsteine sind jedoch viel weicher und werden beim Schhleifen von gekrümmten Klingen beschädigt. Spätestens bei dem feinen Schleifstein (HR600 Fine Curved) ist das Messer so scharf geworden, dass die Messerklinge den Schleifstein abträgt und nach wenigen Schleifvorgängen aus der halbrunden Form eine flache macht. Das Schleifsteinset ist für mich unbrauchbar.

De twee fijne slijpstaafjes (fine en ultrafine) zijn van te zacht materiaal gemaakt. Na het slijpen van een schilmes zijn beide staafjes al gesleten en is de bolle vorm aangetast. Bij de beide grove slijpstaafjes is er geen slijtage.

Dit is dus geen goede aankoop.

Ik heb de Lansky (halfronde) slijpstenen voor curved blades (gekromde lemmets) besteld en reeds ontvangen. Over het product ben ik op zich wel tevreden, maar de 2 fijnste slijpstenen de Light en Ultra Light lijken net krijt, zo zacht zijn ze. Ik heb ook een vermoeden dat deze stenen vrij snel vlak worden. Ook vind ik het erg jammer dat er geen polijst steen bij zit. Omdat je als finishing touch je slijpvlak mooi kunt laten glanzen. Nu blijven ze een beetje mat van kleur. Maar voor het totaalplaatje is het wel een aanrader. Ik heb de tevens de andere Lansky De Luxe slijpsysteem dus de nieuwe slijpstenen maken de set hiermee wel heel compleet.
