The **KME Super-Tuff ceramic sharpening stone, coarse** is an aggressive sharpening stone that quickly removes material. As such the sharpening stone is therefore perfect to re-profile a damaged edge or completely blunt knife.

 The stone is comprised of brown aluminium oxide and comes in a wooden storage box that also serves as a sharpening stone holder. Add some water to the stone before use to decrease friction during use. Our experience with these stones is that at first they feel incredibly coarse. By using it the stone will get its actual grain size.
