The **Kershaw Strata Cleaver 2078** has a large blade with a thin and modern design. The shape of the knife makes it a very good EDC knife that can be used for many different tasks.

## Kershaw Strata Cleaver blade

The weight of the blade and the ball bearings ensure that the knife opens very smoothly with the flipper. The blade is made from D2 steel with a stonewashed finish. D2 is a strong type of tool steel that has been a part of the knife world for years. It stays sharp for a long time, it can take a beating, and it's easy to sharpen. D2 is not completely stainless so clean it after it comes in contact with moisture. Many people don't mind this small drawback, since the steel offers a lot of advantages in return.

## Kershaw Strata Cleaver handle

The Strata Cleaver has an ergonomically-shaped, long handle made from G10. When opened, the blade is locked by a sturdy frame lock. The knife has an extra-deep carry pocket clip. The deep-carry pocket clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly and securely in your pocket.
