The **Kansept Prickle T1012A5** is an elegant pocket knife designed by Max Tkachuk. The Prickle is a modern interpretation of a Japanese knife. Like many Japanese pocket knives, the Prickle is very slim, so it doesn't take up much room in your pocket.

This knife is part of Kansept's budget-friendly T-series. These are functional, affordable pocket knives. You open the blade with the front flipper, then a liner lock locks the blade in place. The Prickle has a pocket clip so you can comfortably carry it in your trouser pocket.

## Micarta handle

The handle is made from micarta. Micarta is a composite material made from linen and synthetic resin. It looks great and also offers plenty of grip.

## 154CM steel blade

The blade of this Kansept knife is made from 154CM steel. This is a good stainless steel with great sharpness retention. 154CM is also easy to sharpen.

I quite like the carrying pouch you get with this knife!
The frontflipper on this one is quite good; but the detent is perhaps a little bit strong. The micarta is nice, the pocket clip is milled and not too tight or too loose. The cutouts and the linerlock are very reasonable, overall a fine pocketknife.
