The **Kahles Helia S 8x42** is the perfect all-round pair of hunting binoculars. The focus was therefore placed on the most important things in binoculars of this kind: Functionality, reliability and ease of use. The new Helia S (which stands for Super) optical system, with specially developed lens coatings, provides high-contrast images with high edge-to-edge sharpness. The optics are adjusted for hunting purposes. You can tell when you look at the large field of view of 136 m / 100 m. The coatings are designed for a wide range of light circumstances.

## Lightweight and ergonomic

With a weight of 815 grams the Helia S is a little heavier than the standard Helia, but you do end up with a bigger field of view and a sharper image. And a very high edge sharpness. The solid body also feels great in hand in wet circumstances. The Kahles Helia S also comes with a top-quality comfort carrier belt with clever closure/

## Kahles binoculars: from Swarovski

The name Kahles is connected to the historical production of rifle scopes by founder Karl Robert Kahles. In 1898 he produced the first rifle scope which he completely made by hand. After his passing his wife kept the company going and later on his sons. The sons decided to produce binoculars for hunting and sporting purposes. When it appeared that there were no heirs left Kahles sold the company to Swarovski. Ever since May of 1989 Kahles is an independent company within the Swarovski group.
