The **KA-BAR Cutlass Machete 1248** is a medium-sized machete. A combination of a broadsword and the famous Kukri blade shape. This KA-BAR Cutlass Machete has the same Kraton handle you have seen on other KA-BAR knives and feels very comfortable in hand. 

 The blade, with its royal belly, is made from 1095 carbon steel. Not stainless, but easy to sharpen. More important: it can handle quite a lot. It is exactly what you want when you are using a machete such as this. You use it to move yourself through dense vegetation, or to cut through small branches. To cut through thicker branches or trunks it is best to use an axe or saw.

 The KA-BAR Cutlass Machete comes with a leather sheath to always keep it close.

Relatief korte machete die uitstekend in de hand ligt en goed gebalanceerd is. Werkt zeer goed voor dunnere takken en gewassen. Daarvoor is hij ook bedoeld. Voor het iets zwaardere kapwerk blijf ik bij mijn traditionele Vlaamse "hakstel".

Le produit correspond tout à fait à mes attentes, la livraison rapide et le prix très correcte.

De la bonne grosse machette US ( mais pas trop longue ) Idéal pour couper des citrouilles ou des choux. Vous couperez bien ce que vous voulez elle semble indestructible….
