The **Hogue EX-F01** is a robust fixed knife. The blade is made from A2 tool steel. A type of steel that is only partially corrosion resistant. Fortunately the KG 2400 GUN-KOTE coating protects the knife from rust. The edge, however, does need a bit of TLC once in a while. Fortunately, this is more than compensated for by the toughness of this type of steel. As such it is a popular type of steel or combat knives.

The handle of this knife is made from nice cocobolo wood. It gives the knife its classic look and feel. In terms of ergonomic shape it offers the user a lot of grip. The knife is produced in the United States and the finish is very good.

The EX-F01 comes in a luxurious MOLLE compatible sheath. It is made from solid nylon with a plastic insert. Thanks to the different mounting methods you can carry the knife any way you like.
