The **Forge de Laguiole Philippe Starck Signature** is an elegant steak knife set designed by Philippe Starck. A French architect and designer who also designed the official Forge de Laguiole factory building. The knives are handmade in the traditional way in Laguiole, France.

The design of these steak knives closely resembles the design of the original Laguiole knives. However, these knives are made from stainless steel and have a minimalistic handle. The knives are polished to a high-gloss finish. This gives them their elegant appearance, and at the same time proves very useful for checking whether your hair is still in place during dinner. 

## Philippe Starck Signature blade and handle

Both the blade and the handle are made from stainless steel. This means they are dishwasher safe. However, we recommend simply washing the knives by hand. This ensures that the knife will stay beautiful for as long as possible. 

The blade is not serrated. This allows it to cut through steaks or other pieces of meat without tearing them.

On the top, exactly between the handle and the blade, you can see the characteristic Laguiole bee in a minimalist design. Philippe Starck's signature is engraved on the right side of the blade.
