The **Extrema Ratio Fat Boy Dark Stonewashed, 04.1000.0107/DKS-BLK** is the most robust fixed knife ever produced by this brand. Made from N690 steel with a hardness of 58 HRC, a thickness of 8.6 mm and a weight of 1 kg, this knife combines impressive thickness with clever design. This design was inspired by the first cleavers, that have been used since ancient times.

The Fat Boy is known for its excellent wear resistance and versatility, making it ideal for both heavy-duty tasks like splitting wood as well as opening windows or doors in case of emergency. Its generous size and unique features make outdoor activities such as chopping and cleaving fun and easy. The blade has as completely flat grind and a tip that functions as protection as well as a lever. Thanks to its shape and width, it is even possible to dig small holes in the ground in emergency situations. The thick and flat back of the blade adds extra mass and can be used as a ‘hammer’, e.g. for tent pegs.
