The **CRKT Sketch 2550** is a cool EDC pocket knife, designed by Lucas Burnley. The Sketch is a pocket knife with a story. Born from a New Year's resolution from the designer. For one year, 365 days in a row, Lucas Burnley decided to design a pocket knife each day. On day 69 he designed the M69 which grew out to become one of his most famous handmade knives ever. This pocket knife not only caught the eye of many collectors, but also that of CRKT. The Sketch 2550 is the result. Named after the ambitious project of the designer.

 The Sketch is enhanced with what CRKT calls a K-tip shaped blade. This is a shape that looks a lot like a sheepsfoot-style blade. The blunt tip with bevelled edge is characterizing for this blade. Perfect for downward cutting tasks on a flat surface like a table or cutting board. This blade is also great when opening boxes. The blade is made from 8cr14MoV steel. A type of stainless steel that is easy to sharpen.

 The handle is made from stainless steel. Because the scales are hollow on the inside they weigh next to nothing. The result is that the Sketch only weighs 105 grams. The first thing you notice when you look at the handle are the bright-green aluminium accents. The *pivot collar* and the backspacer. These accents are in nice contrast with the black screws and the steel handle. When opened a solid liner lock will lock the blade. The use of an *overtravel stop* is very ingenious. It prevents the framelock from overstretching to make sure the lock will stay in great shape for years to come.

 Because of the round and convex shapes the Sketch 2550 can only be called a friendly-looking pocket knife. These round shapes also help with the ergonomics of the knife. The handle comfortably fills the palm of your hand. As such the Sketch is easy to use.

Het geheel is niet te groot,  Klikt goed vast en is makkelijk weer los te krijgen'Het zakmes kan met wat oefenen met 1 hand geopend worden. Materiaal voelt lekker aan en ziet er mooi uit. Hij wordt scherp geleverd. Ander voordeel je voelt hem niet in je broekzak.
