The CRKT Monument 4001 is a fine pocket knife designed by Michael Walker. Few names in the knife world evoke as much respect as Michael Walker. The silversmith turned knife maker, a true master of his craft, is known for his artistic and ornate designs that go far beyond the traditional definition of a knife. The Monument is based on one of Michael's custom designs, of which fewer than a handful were actually made in the end. The name refers to the many monuments in and around his hometown of Taos, New Mexico, but also has a symbolic meaning as a tribute to his craftsmanship in knife making.
