## Coravin wine systems

With a Coravin wine system you can pour a glass of wine without opening up the bottle. This innovative system works with a hollow needle that pierces through the capsule and the cork. You'll pour the wine through the needle. The space that is created in the bottle is filled by argon, an inert, non-reactive gas. Because of this, your wine is safe from oxidation. As a result, oxidation will not occur and the wine won’t become acidic! As soon as you have filled your glass, you pull out the needle and the cork will close off hermetically to make sure that it is perfectly airtight once more.
