The **Condor Survival Puukko Knife 2822-3.86HC** is a Puukko knife, designed for survival tasks. The Puukko is a classic Scandinavian outdoor knife. Especially in Finland this knife is mostly used for hunting and bushcraft purposes. This Condor Survival Puukko is a strong version of this classic design.

 This knife is made for all-round outdoor use. The blade has a scandi-grind. That is a fine grind for wood work. A scandi-edge is also easy to sharpen. Even with limited means and while out in the field.

 The blade of the Condor Survival Puukko is made from 1095 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle quite a bit. 1095, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle. Compared to traditional Puukko's where often only the thick pin of the blade is a part of the handle this is a lot stronger.

 The handle is made from paper-micarta. This is a composite material from thin layers of paper, impregnated with synthetic resin and pressed together under high pressure. It looks great and it is very strong. The white liners in between the blade and the scales contrast nicely. The end of the handle has been enhanced with a steel 'buttcap'. This is good for the balance of the knife because the centre of gravity now lies towards the handle and not the blade.

 The Condor Survival Puukko Knife comes in a traditional leather sheath with a belt loop that has enough room for belts up to 6.8 cm.
