The **Cold Steel Woodsman's Sax 88HUA** is a large fixed knife, based on the sax from the 5th to 11th century. Known as the namesake of the Saxon people. Cold Steel brought this classic design back to life with this Woodsman's Sax.



With an almost 28 cm long blade you will have enough blade length. Use it in your garden as a machete to prune brambles, for instance. The blade is made from 1055 carbon steel. Tough and easy to sharpen. It is, however, not stainless. So, expect discolourations. A patina will form. Be careful around moisture, acids and salt. The blade, after all, is also prone to rust when exposed to these substances. Not that appealing.



The handle is made from a type of hard wood, Cold Steel, however, hasn't listed which type exactly. The sheath is made from leather and offers you many comfortable carrying options.
