The Cold Steel Karve FL-38VK is a medium-sized tactical pocket knife from Cold Steel with a beautiful Seax blade shape. The Karve is made of strong and durable material, easy to open thanks to the thumb studs and equipped with Cold Steel's rock-solid Atlas-Lock locking mechanism. According to Cold Steel it is the strongest lock ever! The Atlas Lock works with a lock-bar in the spine of the handle. When opened, it is, with the help of a spring, pushed into a cut-out in the blade. The lock-bar slides over two pins, amongst which the stop pin, that absorbs the force that is applied to the mechanism. A clever mechanism that ensures that the lock properly secured when opened! You easily unlock the knife by 'pulling back' the lock-bar in the spine of the handle. Due to its symmetrical design the Atlas Lock is great for both left and right-handed use.
