The **Civivi Cogent** is a cool EDC pocket knife for all your everyday tasks. The Cogent is enhanced with a button lock. This means that the blade is locked by a solid button. You open it by pushing the lock and pulling the blade out. The lock will also lock it in place when closed.

## Micarta handle

The handle is comprised of steel liners with micarta scales. Micarta is a superb composite material made from linen and synthetic resin. It looks great and offers plenty of grip.

## 14C28N blade

Sandvik 14C28N. Quite a mouthful, isn't it? All you need to know, however, is that it's stainless and easy to sharpen. 14C28N is also pretty tough and retains its sharpness well. It's an excellent steel for a knife in this price range.

Le manche de ce couteau est très bien dessiné, ce qui rend la prise en main excellente. 
De plus, le Micarta utilisé est superbe.
La lame, au tranchant rasoir en sortie de boite, est bien adaptée à une utilisation quotidienne.
Seul bémol ; le bouton du "button lock" restait coincé en position ouverte, ce qui m'a obligé a retendre le ressort.
