The blade is made of Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless steel that is actually the same as 420HC steel. This steel allows for fast sharpening, making it easy to maintain a sharp edge.



The blade has been polished, this is a premium blade finish that leaves no room for error. A polished blade ensures minimal friction while cutting, making the knife cut like a dream.



## Handle made from bone

The handle of this Case Knives Muskrat is made from bone. Typically, cow bone is used for this purpose. Manufacturers often give this material an interesting colour and texture. It is a material that has been used for knife handles and other tools for a very long time.

The Muskrat is named after the animal originally skinned with it. A Muskrat pocket knife has two blades that are usually identical to each other.
