The **Bradford Guardian 5.5 Stonewashed 3D Camo Micarta** is a large fixed knife, designed for outdoor tasks and survival purposes. The curves and the subtle line pattern offer you enough grip. Even while wearing gloves.

This Bradford Guardian 5.5 comes in a leather sheath. It is enhanced with a belt loop to make sure you can carry it horizontally on your belt.

## Blade Bradford Guardian 5.5

The blade is made from CPM 3CV-steel. This is an extremely tough type of tool steel that can handle its own. You do, however, need to be careful with moisture and acids: CPM 3V is not completely stainless. So clean it after use and occasionally add a drop of oil to keep this knife in great shape. The blade has a stonewashed finish. As such traces of use are hardly invisible.

## Handle Bradford Guardian 5.5

The handle is made from micarta. A rock-solid plastic that is also lightweight. As such the total weight remains low, but you can still use it for the more demanding tasks. The chequered grooves provide you with enough grip over the knife.

Très bon couteau, très solide et de taille suffisante pour faire une grande variété de choses. L'émouture est très bien pour refendre du petit bous par batonnage, et le fil est suffisamment fine pour bien couper. En revanche, le manche est trop fin près du ricasso.  Il ne permet pas une prise en force, il ne rempli pas la main correctement. Et le jimping sur le dos de la lame est trop agressif, j'ai dû le poncer (difficilement!) Pour qu'il ne m'attaque pas la peau. Mais au final ça reste un couteau agrable et à la lame et l'acier impécables.
