The **Böker Plus Kalashnikov AK101 2.0 01KAL105** is a large, rock-solid heavy-duty pocket knife from Böker's well-known Kalashnikov series. Suitable for either tactical use or outdoor use.

This is the 2.0 version of an old classic! Now back with a new look: a black blade and strong D2 steel. D2 is a tough type of steel that can handle its own. However, this steel is not entirely stainless, but Böker solved this issue with a coating that protects the blade. You open the blade with the thumb disc, after which a strong liner lock keeps the blade in place.

The handle is made from strong plastic, and has been enhanced with ridges and finger grooves for the best possible grip. The handle is large enough that you can comfortably hold it while wearing gloves. The end of the handle is enhanced with a glass breaker in case of emergencies. The glass breaker is also the screw securing the deep-carry pocket clip.

The packaging is a nice touch: the box is shaped like a Kalashnikov's magazine.

Mooi groot mes. Ligt door de vinger groeven goed in de hand. De 'detent' had wat strakker gemogen. Het is nu iets te makkelijk om het grote 10 cm lemmet niet volledig te openen. Als je het mes kent, dan houd je daar natuurlijk rekening mee.
