The **Böker Manufaktur Schildpatt 2.0 140555** is a top-quality straight razor. A stunning razor with imitation turtle shield, and gold accents on the blade. Böker has been producing straight razors for over a hundred years and has an excellent reputation in this field. This *straight razor* is made in the Böker workshop in Solingen, Germany.


This straight razor has an *extra hollow* grind with a *ridge*. The extra hollow grind gives you an extremely thin edge which is also a little flexible. This razor is amazing to work with but perhaps not as suited for heavy beard growth. The *ridge* ensures that the spine of the blade is thick enough to be blocked by the handle. In addition, the spine provides support when determining the right sharpening angle while stropping and sharpening.



This razor is enhanced with a square point and the tang behind the edge is enhanced with grip serrations on both sides. The handle is made from artificial turtle shield. Very realistic, hardly distinguishable from the real deal. A great knife for a great price.



## Solingen 1.2510 carbon steel


Böker used 1.2510 carbon steel for this straight razor. Even though the technical number 1.2510 means little to most, many have heard of the famous O1 steel. After sharpening it is razor-sharp which leaves you with even softer and more comfortable results.
