The **Böker Barlow Prime EDC 115942** is a classic slipjoint. A real traditional, but designed like a pocket knife that is more suited for EDC use.



The blade is made from O1. Not stainless, but like how they used to make it. Even easier to sharpen razor-sharp, which is a great advantage. Carbon steel also forms a patina in time. It changes colour because of fruit acids and moisture. That is why a couple drops of oil once in a while will keep it in great shape. Böker enhanced the blade with a coarse, etched stonewashed finish.


The handle is made from stunning micarta. A strong composite material made from burlap and synthetic resin. You open this knife with two hands and when opened the slipjoint makes sure the knife doesn't close when you don't want it to. Please note: it doesn't completely lock the blade like a backlock!
