The **Bestech Toucan BG14** is a large pocket knife for an amazing price. You use it for different tasks. From opening a box to peeling an apple. The blade has quite the 'belly', but also a flatter part which a slight recurve. As such the Toucan is incredibly versatile.



The blade is made from D2. This is a great type of steel that won't easily break and retains its sharpness well. You open the flipper with the flipper or the thumb hole. Because of the ball bearings it moves smoothly and the liner lock provides you with a solid lock. The steel liners are enhanced with G10 scales. They feel great in hand. A great detail is the remarkable pivot on the presentation side.

Goed mes. Ligt lekker zwaar in de hand, door het gebruikte staal en voelt daardoor ook kwalitatief goed aan. Snijvlak valt ook makkelijk scherp te houden.

Pour 44 euro en promo, ce Bestech était vraiment une belle occasion. Le design de la lame est très attractif et bien pensé avec cette large coupe puis cet angle et enfin une partie incurvée. Il taille comme un rasoir et surtout sa détente est rapide et dynamique bien meilleure qu'un Shodan nettement plus cher. Seule défaut, le manche taille un peu petit pour les grandes mains. Après la partie pour l'index, la partie pour le majeur et l'annulaire est trop étroite pour ma main. Mais ça passe encore. Très bel objet, bonne finition, costaud, un g10 massif avec du grain pour une bonne adhérence. Un très beau couteau à tout faire!

Ze openen nog makkelijker dan spring-assisted messen.
De toekomst zal leren of dit zo blijft na veel gebruik en er een beetje vuil in de lagers zit.
